Arlette
Thomas-Fletcher is a
writer,
actor,
singer/songwriter,
director and
producer. Arlette
began acting at a
very young age and
through the years
her interested
blossomed to include
nearly all areas of
film, stage, and
multi-media. Her
journey was a long
one and Arlette
wrote, directed and
produced her first
play 1999. Arlette's
focus is in
producing
Christian/Inspirational
entertainment and
this play "A Form of
Godliness" served as
the perfect première
to showcase her
talents, and was
very well received.
Now her achievements
include one award
winning short film,
another film “The
Mystery Date” and an
upcoming feature
film and a
documentary.
Currently she is the
president of
Women in Film and
Video of Maryland
a non-profit
organization
promoting women in
the film industry.
She has been a guest
speaker on WBAL 11,
WJZ 13, WEAA, WRBS
and WJRO radio.
The name “Fruits of
The Spirit
Productions” is from
the Bible verse term
Galatians
5:22-23“But the
fruit of the Spirit
is love, joy, peace,
longsuffering,
gentleness,
goodness, faith,
meekness,
temperance: against
such there is no
law." She hopes that
her work will
inspire and show
audiences the
importance of
showing love and
patience with the
world around us.
Arlette is also the
founder of
Shining Bright
Productions, a
Christian
entertainment,
inspirational
communications,
media, publishing
and retailing
business. Her first
short film "Assault
in Brooklyn was
screened at the
Baltimore Women's
Film Festival on
October 23, 2008,
8:00 p.m. at the
Landmark Harbor East
Theater. The film
also won Honorable
Mention from the
Baltimore Women's
Film Festival 2008
competition for Best
Film by a local
film. Arlette film
Assault In Brooklyn
was also featured in
an article in the
Baltimore Sun
paper's
entertainment
section on
October 23, 2008.
